Payment Policy
Diabzen is committed to transparency and integrity in all aspects of scholarly publishing, including payment and processing policies for authors and contributors.
1. Article Processing Charges (APC)
● Open Access Model: Diabzen operates as an open-access journal. To make all content freely accessible to the scientific community and public, an Article Processing Charge (APC) may be levied upon acceptance of a manuscript.
● APC Details: The specific amount of the APC is outlined on the Diabzen website and communicated clearly to authors during the submission and acceptance process.
● Waiver and Discounts: Partial or full waivers/reductions of the APC may be available for authors from low-income countries, students, or in special circumstances at the discretion of the editorial board. Requests for waivers should be made at the time of submission.
2. Payment Process
● Notification: Authors will be informed about the APC and payment process upon acceptance of their manuscript.
● Modes of Payment: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other secure online payment methods as directed by the journal office. Full instructions are provided with the invoice.
● Timing: Payment is required after acceptance and before publication. The manuscript will not be published until the APC is received.
3. No Submission or Review Charges
● Submission is Free: There are no charges for initial manuscript submission or peer review. Authors are only asked for payment if their manuscript is accepted for publication.
4. Refund Policy
● No Refunds Post-Publication: Once published, APCs are non-refundable except in cases of accidental overpayment or journal error.
● Publication Delays: In the event of significant publication delays not attributable to the authors, the editorial office may consider partial refunds or fee waivers.
5. Institutional and Sponsor Payments
● Grants/Sponsors: Authors whose research is funded by grants or institutions may arrange for payment of APCs through their sponsors. The editorial office can provide official invoices and documentation as required.
6. Transparency and Communication
● Clear Disclosure: All payment information, including APCs, waivers, and payment procedures, is available on the Diabzen website and communicated at key stages of the submission and review process.
● Contact Support: For payment-related queries, authors are encouraged to contact the Diabzen editorial office directly for assistance.
This payment policy aligns with widely accepted practices in open-access scientific publishing and ensures ethical standards and fairness for all contributors.
